Who attends Digital Design?

This class is a little unique because sophomores, juniors, and seniors along with adult students can attend Digital Design.  High school students can attend all morning or all afternoon or for just two periods.  Adults can attend 1/2 or all day. Sophomores may attend with approval from high school administration and counselor.

      • Experience working with Adobe Creative suite with emphasis on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

      • In-depth knowledge of news media operations and the ability to work under high-pressure and/or crisis situations.
      • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
      • Lead the execution of digital marketing platforms for SeaWorld and Aquatica San Antonio.
      • Oversees and Supervises Photo/Video Services related to any communication/marketing collateral
      • Salary Range: $68,367 – $84,730
    • Public Information Specialist – Social Media – City of Fayetteville, NC
      • Assist staff and personnel with media relations; provide information to news media on breaking stories during normal working hours; serve as a liaison with internal and external media for story developments with department personnel as well as conducting sound bites and radio interviews.
      • Prepare and disseminate information to the media, general public and other agencies in oral and written formats and social media platforms, as required; coordinate the dissemination of information with departmental staff and personnel regarding media queries and strategies.
      • Gather information to create public relations tools such as news releases, public service announcements, and other detailed information to promote services, programs and events.
      • Attend City events and activities; photograph and video events, activities and/or other applicable items.
      • Engage in positive interactions with the general public to include social media platforms.
      • Required training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
      • Salary: $44,738.00
    • Part Time Digital Marketing Strategist – Freestyle Marketing and Films – Moore, OK
      • Maintaining clients’ social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
      • Design/layout multi-media collateral for various Freestyle clients
      • Copywriting for clients’ social media
      • Basic graphic design for clients’ social media posts
      • Write original, creative blog posts for various clients
      • Researching content and emerging trends for digital marketing and social media
      • Writing press releases for clients and pitching news stories to local media outlets
      • Basic Search Engine Optimization and Moz listing consolidation for clients
      • Implementing online advertising via Google Ads and Facebook Ads
      • Prepare monthly reports for each client (compiling Google Analytics and Facebook Insights)
      • Assist the Freestyle team with day-to-day digital marketing responsibilities
      • Basic photography skills a plus
      • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign)
      • Familiarity with WordPress and other online content management systems
      • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
      • Required training: A bachelor’s degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, strategic communications and/or a related degree.
